Provincial Annual Convocation (Business Meeting)

It is with regret that on behalf of the Executive Officers of the Royal Arch Province of Hertfordshire, that I must inform you that due to the planned Underground strikes by the RMT and ASLEF unions, from Friday 1st November for an anticipate period of 12 days, the decision has been taken to postpone our Annual Convocation from Monday 4th November 2024 to Thursday 9th January 2025. However, at the time of writing, this date is subject to the approval of Supreme Grand Chapter.
At that meeting, it is anticipated that E. Comp. David Hampton will be installed as the Grand Superintendent and he in turn will install his Deputy Grand Superintendent, E Comp Robert Asser, the 2nd & 3rd Provincial Grand Principals and invest those Companions receiving their Provincial honours.
In addition, it has been decided to hold a Business Meeting at Ashwell House on the original date of 4th November, at 11.00 which will deal with the ancillary items such as approval of the accounts, appointment of the treasurer and auditors, etc but importantly those receiving Provincial honours will be announced as appointed and will have their new rank effective from that date. Their full investiture will be undertaken at the Annual Convocation as noted above on 9th January. The attendees of the Business Meeting will be restricted to a maximum of 60 companions and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. There will be a lunch following the meeting.
